Pilot Fab Labs received a 3D printer for transparent material

Body

The PHABLABS 4.0 project aims to facilitate the use of photonics components and to stimulate innovation with photonics in Fab Labs. For this reason, the 14 pilot Fab Labs all received a 3D printer which can print transparent material. Some of the Photonics Workshops and Photonics Challengers which will be developed by the partners, will make use of the Formlabs Form 2, a very advanced desktop 3D SLA printer.

More information on the printer can be found on the 3D printer page.

Let’s hope that the Form 2 is the pilot Fab Lab’s tool to innovate!
