ULN2003A
This integrated circuit (IC) is a ‘driver’ for f.e. LEDs: the microcontroller does not provide enough current for the power-hungry LEDs, so we need an amplifier, which is controlled by a small current and provides a large current.
That’s what the ULN2003A does.
